Drama, conspiracies, and accusations around P Diddy's scandalous fall

The P Diddy scandal

Sean Diddy Combs was arrested on 16 September 2024 and is facing a range of serious charges, which include sex trafficking, racketeering conspiracy, and even transportation for prostitution.

It seems the complaints and accusations have just been piling up against P Diddy ever since his former girlfriend Cassie Ventura dragged him to court with accusations of abuse and sexual assault. While that lawsuit was settled a day after it was filed, it appears to have started a flood of new charges being laid against Diddy.

New allegations

The Texas-based lawyer, Tony Buzbee, will be representing the 120 alleged victims who were minors at the time of the assault. The charges date all the way back to the early 1990s.

Buzbee says they will expose those who enabled this type of conduct behind closed doors and will pursue the matter no matter who gets implicated by the evidence. One male escort also provided video evidence implicating Diddy and a woman who has not been named.

‘Freak Offs’

P Diddy is accused of being the leader of a criminal enterprise. The racketeering conspiracy states that the Combs Enterprise, which includes P Diddy, his record label Bad Boy Entertainment and employees and associates engaged in and attempted to engage in a range of activities, which includes sex trafficking, forced labour, transportation for prostitution purposes, kidnapping, arson, bribery, obstruction of justice and more.

Guns, ammo, drugs, and a large selection of lubricant and baby oil were confiscated from the Comb’s home. According to the indictment, they found more than 1000 bottles of baby oil and lubricant in his home.

Conspiracies

As always, any time a big star gets dragged in the mud, there are some wild conspiracy theories and discussions doing the rounds. Here are some of the conspiracies:

Justin Bieber distancing himself

Many are speculating regarding Justin’s starting days in the industry and whether or not he could’ve been another potential victim. In response to the current situation regarding P Diddy, Justin has distanced himself from the rapper. One reason for concern is a video from when Justin was only 15 years old.

He posted the video to his YouTube channel showing that he and P Diddy would hang out together for 48 hours. P Diddy refused to disclose what the two were up to. One concerning comment was when he added, “It’s definitely a 15-year-old’s dream”.

There’s one video from 2021 where the two meet up, and it looks like Justin is being checked to see if he’s wearing a wire. Only after the patting down did Diddy say something to Justin before both moved to their respective vehicles.

According to sources, Justin Bieber was shocked by the news as many of those in the industry who helped him were very close to Diddy. The news has thrown Justin, and he has withdrawn, choosing not to respond. Justin, who recently welcomed his first son, Jack Blues Bieber, into the world, is choosing to focus on being the best dad rather than getting dragged into the P Diddy drama.

Rodney ‘Lil Rod’ Jones

A case brought up against Combs on 26 February 2024 by producer Rodney Jones claims that he was subject to unwanted advances by associates of P Diddy. According to the claim, he was also forced to have sexual relations with the sex workers Combs hired. Some conspiries first thought him to be involved in the scandal.

Rodney quickly stated that he had no idea how his name came up, but he was willing to pay $100,000 for anyone to get to the bottom of it. Jones claims that he was sexually harassed, drugged and threatened for over a year and that he has video and audio evidence of illegal activities from Combs and his team.

Lies and misdirection

Reuters quickly debunked a conspiracy involving social media users who claimed there was a secret tunnel connecting Diddy’s LA Mansion to the Playboy Mansion. It was a made-up story.

Then there’s Dr. Umar, who believes that Diddy’s arrest is simply meant to distract from the election season. The idea is to divert attention from all laws and policies being passed behind the scenes.

Usher also wiped his entire Twitter history, removing over 7,000 of his old tweets, with many speculating that he may be involved in the scandal. According to Usher, his account has been hacked.

Why his friends choose silence

With such serious allegations against P Diddy, you may be wondering why his friends have chosen to remain silent. Over the years, P Diddy has built up several notable acquaintances and friends, including the biggest names, from actors to singers to businessmen.

The public has asked why Diddy’s endless list of friends has not spoken up or addressed the current legal affairs. According to the CEO of crisis PR firm Red Banyan, this strategic move focuses on creating distance between them and whatever is happening with him.

According to Banyan, speaking out could directly affect the stars. The best for them would be to withdraw and wait until the situation is resolved. At the current time, P Diddy is awaiting trial.
