    Stakelogic approved to continue in the Swedish gaming market

    Swedish regulator approves Stakelogic continuing as top slots and live dealer online games provider unabated.

    Stakelogic is a software provider that creates exclusive video slots in HTML5 with unique proprietary technology. The company was established in 2014 by StakeLogic BV, a subsidiary company of the renowned Novomatic - an industry leader in the production of casino software for decades.

    Following the launch of its Greedy Fox online slot featuring the Super Stake and Spin to Win innovations, Stakelogic has been approved by the Swedish regulator, Spelingspektionen, to continue to offer its range of slot titles. It has also been approved to provide its live dealer game content to licenced operators of online casinos in Sweden.

    Live dealer games and online slots by Stakelogic feature the Super Stake innovation, which allows players to double their bet, increasing their chance of activating a bonus feature and leading to potentially lucrative win combinations.

    Who owns Stakelogic?

    Novomatic is an international gambling company based in Austria, available at more than 2,000 casinos and other gaming facilities in about 50 countries. Novomatic expanded into the online gambling market in 2010 by acquiring London-based Greentube studio, the main publisher of already established Novomatic slot games.

    Stakelogic is a wholly owned subsidiary of Greentube and part of Novomatic Interactive, which offers online gambling directly to consumers.

    Regulatory changes effective July 1st, 2023

    The approval of Stakelogic is in advance of new regulations, including mandatory B2B licences for gambling software in Sweden, as laid out by the Swedish Gambling Authority (SGA), due to come into effect on July 1st, 2023.

    The main objective of amendments to the Gambling Act, including the implementation of B2B licences, is to prohibit online casino software providers from supplying services to unlicenced sites. The updates to the Gambling Act were approved by the Swedish Parliament on November 23rd, 2022. Until recently, only B2C operators needed a licence from the SGA.

    Stephan van den Oetelaar, CEO of Stakelogic, said the company was thrilled to be among the first to be granted a supplier licence for Stakelogic and Stakelogic Live, as Swedish online casinos were an important and favourite market for the online game provider

    According to van den Oetelaar:

    “Our games have really hit the mark with players in Sweden, and securing approval from the regulator means we can continue to offer our slots and live content to operators and their players once the regulatory changes have come into force.”

    Let the games continue

    Courtesy of the SGA approval, Swedish online casinos will be able to provide players with access to Stakelogic’s full range of classic slots, including Multi4PLayer, Multi6Player, and Big Runner Deluxe. Video slots Cash Express, Wild Buzz, El Cowboy Megaway, the recently released Greedy Fox, and Spartans vs Zombies Multipays are also included.

    Swedish online casino operators can also offer live casino game content from Stakelogic’s live dealer subsidiary. Various live Roulette variations are available, as well as Blackjack versions.

    Live game shows like Spin to Win, Super Stake Blackjack 60x, and Runner Roulette 5000x are also available to the Swedish online casino audience.

    Live dealer games with professional croupiers instead of a computer have become extremely popular, along with the entire Stakelogic portfolio of casino games available at Swedish online casinos.

    Now Swedish players can continue to make the most of these games for many years to come.
