    Microgaming set to launch a brand new live casino studio in 2022

    Microgaming teams up with On Air Entertainment to create a new live casino suite that will launch exciting games in 2022.

    Microgaming are making waves within the casino industry once again with exciting new possibilities and innovations.

    Despite setbacks and lockdowns, the online casino industry is thriving with big names such as Microgaming working harder than ever before to stay ahead of the pack.

    A brand-new live casino experience will be available soon and it’s already shaping up to be a game-changer.

    New live casino suite

    Microgaming is always searching for new ways to shake up the casino industry and this time the software powerhouse has its eye set on live casino.

    On Air Entertainment is a new company, launched in January 2021 by Microgaming, that will be at the forefront of creating live casino games.

    John Coleman, CEO at Microgaming, commented on the new studio, saying: “On Air Entertainment represents a new evolution of live casino gaming, possessing all the experience, talent, and passion required to innovate in the live casino space. I am delighted that Microgaming is playing an integral part in their exciting journey.”

    Set to launch early in 2022 on a purpose-built platform by the studio, Microgaming and On Air Entertainment are working to blow the minds of those who play live casino games.

    Currently, On Air Entertainment is run by a small team of industry professionals with years of experience under their belts. With headquarters in Malta and a studio that operates out of Latvia, the group is preparing for rapid growth leading up to the first launch of their games.

    Andres Rengifo, managing director at On Air Entertainment, shared his excitement about the project, saying: “Our vision is to be the global innovator of choice for tailored live casino experiences, and to achieve this we’re bringing together the very brightest and best live casino talent from across the industry. Powered by Microgaming, we will have access to unrivalled customer and market reach, this is a game-changer for us, and we can’t wait to begin broadcasting together.”

    Players will have access to a library of classic and bespoke live casino games by the studio in the first half of 2022.

    2021: A busy year for Microgaming

    Microgaming is known for being a mover and shaker in the online casino industry and 2021 has been a particularly busy time for the group.

    Always in the news, they kicked off the year by announcing the first set of Microgaming casino game releases. Not long after, the news dropped that Microgaming would be partnering with PearFiction Studios in an exclusive deal.

    From there on out, the industry leader snowballed from one announcement into the next. Collaborations and partnerships with top names such as Rootz, GONG Gaming, Gold Coin Studios, the Solverde Group and BLOX show that the studio is not wasting any time.

    The software provider has also celebrated its 20th anniversary in the Isle of Man with 20 charitable donations. In addition, each month new Microgaming slots have been released and big wins have been applauded along the way.

    With a brand-new set of live casino games on the cards, we can’t wait to see what else Microgaming has up its sleeve before the year is over.
