    EGT scoops up Land-Based Game Machine of the Year award

    The software provider, EGT, adds the latest SiGMA Asia Award to its list of achievements for 2023.

    There are many different software providers that cater to the online and offline iGaming industry. Some of these providers tend to shine and grab attention much more frequently than others.

    EGT recently stole the spotlight once again with its Land-based game machine of the year award at SiGMA Asia Awards 2023.

    Recent awards for EGT

    The Bulgarian manufacturer EGT just received the Land-Based Game Machine of the Year award at the SiGMA Asia Awards. The ceremony took place on the 19th of July in Manila, Philippines, during the SiGMA Asia Expo.

    According to the company, it received the award because of its cutting-edge slot cabinets that form part of its latest General series. The firm believes the titles stand out thanks to the impressive design and incredible comfort brought on by its ergonomic features. Aside from these titles, the provider also boasts a range of games with top-tier designs and great jackpot rewards.

    According to EGT, the award recognises their contribution to developing the land-based gaming scene. Mariana Manchina, EGT Philippines sales manager, states that it is not only an honour to receive the reward but also a validation of their commitment to excellence.

    It also serves as recognition for their devotion and passion towards pushing the boundaries. According to the team, there is still plenty to be done as they still need to demonstrate their product potential to the Asian market. However, this award is the inspiration that only goes to show they are on the right track.

    It was EGT's very first showcase event, and they were showcasing their latest products at D19, where they were joined by EGT Digital (Amusnet).

    The company keeps expanding and currently has over 2,500 active employees. EGT games continue to grow and increase its number, focusing on slot machines, other games, and accessories. 

    Aside from its high-quality products, the company also provides technical support. Over the past two decades, EGT has continued to expand its product and service portfolio. Today t has a distribution network that spans 5 continents.

    The difference between EGT and Amusnet

    One thing many players still frequently get confused about is the difference between Amusnet and EGT. In an interview with Radostin Dimitrov, commercial manager at Amusnet, CasinoWow explored the big difference between the two.

    So, what makes the two so different? EGT quickly reminds one of EGT Interactive, a name familiar in the gaming industry.

    EGT Digital is, in fact, a subsidy of the Euro Games Technology (EGT) Group. Despite the name, it is different from EGT Interactive. In fact, EGT Interactive was rebranded to Amusnet recently. The rebrand came with the goal of a deeper commitment to full-service-based online gaming action

    EGT Interactive used to focus on slot games, but with the rebrand, they’ve been expanding and testing their hand at other games, which include live casino games and instant win titles.

    Despite the similarities, Amusnet and EGT are two completely separate entities.

    You will find that they have a range of games with similar designs, but Amusnet games will have a different name. One of the most prominent differences is using the word ‘Bell’. On top of that, games are slightly modified and come with different features.

    This ensures that despite the many similarities one notices at first, the games are, in fact, completely different from one another.
