She lands her dream job in Paris, where she becomes mixed in love triangles and learns to navigate her new demanding job far from home. She starts as a simpleton and then dons a Parisian wardrobe that’ll leave you green with envy.

Sex and the City

Sex and the City is one of those well-loved series that hits all the right spots. It’s a tale of four friends in New York City and their many adventures, from love to heartbreak and career. One thing that keeps this series iconic is the insane fashion choices.

You may find yourself wondering how four ordinary girls from New York manage to have beautiful closets filled with the latest fashion. When you’re talking fashion, there’s no way you can leave out Gossip Girl. This series ran from 2007 to 2012, and while there was a remake in 2021, there was nothing quite as satisfying as the original.

The series includes ten regular cast members, with Serena van der Woodsen (Blake Lively) and Blair Waldorf (Leighton Meester) as your main trendsetters. The fashion among the rest of the cast is not to be ignored, but we’re particularly fond of these two.

And if you think fashion is just for the ladies, you’re dead wrong. In Gossip Girl, you get to see the men dress to impress. We’re referring to the main characters, Nate Archibald (Chace Crawford) and Chuck Bass (Ed Westwick).

Devil Wears Prada

For something with added humour, join Andreah Sachs, played by Anne Hathaway, in her new adventure as an assistant to Runway magazine editor-in-chief Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep). Andrea is an ordinary girl who dresses for comfort over fashion.

You might even say she’s slightly outdated and fashion blind when the show starts. But as she navigates the challenges of being a fashion magazine employee, she slowly but surely gets a fashion makeover that might even give you that little push to upgrade your own closet.
