    Greentube continues global growth entering Greek market

    Greentube is on a mission to expand and enter more regulated markets, with Greece as one of the latest.

    The online casino industry is on a growth path and new regions are getting access to more game variety. Greece is among the regions that saw a lot of regulatory changes in the past year.

    With new regulations there are more opportunities and Greentube is taking the opportunity to expand its reach within the region.

    Greentube enters Greece

    The Novomatic division, Greentube is taking a selection of games in their portfolio live in Greece to further expand the regulated market.

    Greentube will be taking the first range of games live with Fonbet in Greece. Games to become available to Greek players include Book of Ra Deluxe, Lucky Lady’s Charm Deluxe and Dolphin’s Pearl Deluxe. It is also expected that more content will be added to the collection including the popular Diamond Link and Cash Connection series.

    While Greentube’s content has been available in Greece for several years, it was during a time of legal grey areas. The country only recently decided to fully regulate online gambling, giving more operators the chance to enter the territory.

    Greentube rises to the occasion partnering with one of the leading operators in Greece in an effort to expand its reach of engagement and entertainment across the country, introducing it to new customers.

    This is one of many new deals for Greentube which has managed to quickly grow its footprint in several regulated markets across Europe, and Greentube's debut in the US.

    The Greentube sales and key account manager in Greece, Lisa Sandner, states that their content is already performing strongly in the Greek market which is why they look forward to the opportunity to reach more players by increasing their footprint. Sandner continues saying that they will focus on expanding into regulated markets and Greece plays a large role in their growth strategy.

    The Greek Market

    Online operators have been able to apply for their Greek licenses since October 2020. This is merely a year after the Greek parliament passed reforms of the country gambling legislation in October 2019.

    With the new laws in place, there is a couple of new regulations in Greece to follow which doesn’t seem like a bad thing considering online slots were almost completely banned with one of the earlier drafts of the new laws.

    Now online slots are still accessible but there is a cap of €2 per spin and spins can last only 3 seconds at most. There is also a new cap on winnings with the maximum win per round stopping at €70,000.

    The new regulatory changes enable the brand to offer more of its games and reach more potential players. This is one of many partnerships with the country and they continue to grow their brand and expand their reach.

    The company is committed to increasing its global reach and allowing more players across the globe to try its range of games.

    It is a great time of celebration for Greentube with the Hellenic Gaming Commission awarding their Greek license to be able to further their global footprint.

    The premier collection of online slots and live casino games will be available to players in Greece along with other major gaming jurisdictions.
