    Novomatic’s Stakelogic to acquire Hurricane Games

    Stakelogic is expanding its reach with the acquisition of Hurricane Games, a small software creator based in the UK.

    The online gambling world is always on the move with companies changing hands, innovative ideas sprouting into new ways to play, and so much more.

    Recently, Stakelogic announced that it would be acquiring Hurricane Games, a small software developer that is based in the United Kingdom.

    After working closely with Stakelogic via the Greenlogic partner program, the two companies reached an agreement and will soon be completing the deal.

    Stakelogic’s plan for growth

    Only days after completing the acquisition of Smart&Applied, a Belgrade-based company that now operates as Stakelogic Serbia, it was announced that Hurricane Games was next on the cards.
    By acquiring Hurricane Games, Stakelogic will expand its development capacity with a team of talented individuals.

    Stakelogic chief executive, Stephan van den Oetelaar, commented on the news saying: “The acquisition of Hurricane Games takes our in-house development capabilities to the next level, allowing us to grow at pace while also delivering new, exciting content to our operator partners on a regular basis.”

    “Hurricane Games was one of the first studios to join our Greenlogic Program, so we have plenty of experience working with its team of incredible talent to create games that stand out in operator lobbies and deliver a superior player experience. I’d like to welcome Hurricane Games to the Stakelogic family and look forward to seeing some truly special slots leave our production line over the coming months and years,” continued Oetelaar.

    It has already been announced that the Hurricane Games team will all retain their current posts and will be encouraged to creatively design and develop casino games going forward. All of the development will be done with the full support of Stakelogic and its team of experienced designers, marketers, and industry leaders.

    Hurricane Games director Andrew Fraser shared his excitement at getting to work closely with Stakelogic, saying: “Stakelogic has been instrumental in our rise to date, and I am thrilled to further strengthen the relationship between both studios via this acquisition.”

    “We have some incredible concepts in the pipeline and now that we are part of the Stakelogic family [we] have the resources to bring them to life and deliver the best possible player experience across all of our titles,” continued Fraser.

    What Stakelogic brings to the table

    Established in 2014 by Greentube and Novomatic – two of the largest names in the casino business – Stakelogic kicked off with a bang. The software developer has quickly grown to be trusted in the industry and enjoyed by players in over 15 jurisdictions.

    Stakelogic holds four gambling licenses and currently employs more than 85 “heroes” as they’re lovingly called by the company. The company is licensed by the ONJN, the MGA, the UKGC, is ISO certified.

    Fans of Stakelogic’s online casino games will find state-of-the-art features that can be enjoyed in many jurisdictions and at many online casinos.

    The innovative features include Super Stake and Mega Super Stake. The studio also develops branded games where they partner with movie studios to release games such as Rambo Stallone and The Expendables Megaways.

    With so much on the cards and so many exciting plans for the future, we’re excited to see what Stakelogic pulls out of its hat next!
