    Software providers falling behind

    Unfortunately, while some software providers seem to thrive under constant growth and development pressure, others are quickly falling behind.

    Software providers like Amatic, Blueprint, Aristocrat, BetSoft, and NextGen are quickly becoming a background filler. NextGen is also no longer making games since it's been acquired by SG Digital. With the acquisition, there has been a halt in new releases.

    So, what is it that makes these providers less fun than others? The reality is that while some, like NextGen, have stopped creating new games, others are running out of ideas or motivation. Their games are no longer top-edge or game-changing.

    Instead, they remain stagnant, creating games that provide a similar experience to all their previous games, which makes games repetitive and boring. Players no longer look forward to their new releases as the provider's own lack of enthusiasm in game creation is becoming more evident.

    For these providers to get back to the top, they will need to bring in an X factor that again sets their new games apart from the rest.
