Who is MT Securetrade Limited?
While the name MT Securetrade Limited is not well known to the public, it is the corporate identity behind the industry stalwart, the Gaming Innovation Group (GiG). As a leader in the iGaming sector, the company runs an internationally licensed white-label, serving both the B2B and B2C segments of the market.

Gaming Services
The company has created an aggregator platform where they can host games from any provider/developer and then offer that service to any online casino operator that needs it. It does away with the need for the casino to maintain each of the software platforms internally.
The platform acts as a hub through which GiG licensed operators, and their players can access a wide array of casino games from some of the best casino game providers on the market, such as Microgaming, Net Entertainment, Play'n GO, Yggdrasil, Thunderkick, Quickspin, and Evolution Gaming, to name a few.
In addition to hosting an impressive selection of 3rd party games, they also created four of their own in-house casino games under the now-defunct GiG Games. A team of experts in the fields of game theory, RNG, sound and graphical design created the games for GiG. However, the project was shuttered in late 2019.
GiG has not ruled out a future return to internal game development, only stating that for now, it is not a focal part of their business mandate.
Platform Services
GiG offers a stellar white-label platform which allows licensed operators a turnkey solution for the creation and running of an online casino or online sportsbook. The service makes use of the iGamingCloud, another GiG subsidiary, and hosts more than 40 successful online gambling operations.
In 2020 GiG made the strategic decision to no longer offer white label gambling services in the United Kingdom. The company held a sterling reputation with the UK Gaming Commission; however, the market was becoming increasingly difficult for smaller operators due to constantly changing regulations.
Instead, the company has chosen to focus their efforts on bolstering the already strong results they are seeing throughout Europe and other territories where they can best serve their clients and the players who rely on their platform for the best online casino entertainment.
History
Gaming Innovation Group Ltd was incorporated under the name Donkr International Ltd in Malta in 2008. It was the holding company of innovation Labs Ltd, which was the company that hosted the online poker forum called Donkr.com. The company underwent an ownership change in 2012, where it was rebranded as Gaming Innovation Group, affectionately known in the industry as GiG.
In 2012, following the buy over, Guts Gaming Ltd was incorporated as a full subsidiary of the group, after which they launched their first branded casino and sports betting platform – Guts Casino. Guts gaming changed names to MT Secure Trade Limited. It is now GiGs legal service entity for B2B and B2C services.
From 2017 to 2020 GiG continued to hone their focus and improve their offering to both clients and customers. The company acquired a performance marketing arm which utilised the latest data-driven technologies to provide market insight and improve return on investment while also divesting itself of all internally managed iGaming brands.
This renewed focus sees GiG focus on two key areas of service, GiG Core (the name for its platform related products and services) and GiG Media (the umbrella term for the company's media and marketing services).
In 2020 GiG focused on the importance of partnership, and now operates under the Betsson Group after being acquired by them in March 2020. This is a positive arrangement for both sides that allows them to dedicate their time to segments they want.

As further proof of their success, the parent company has traded on the Oslo Stock Exchange since June 2015 under the ticker symbol 'GIG'. At the time of its launch, the company was given a valuation of 4 billion NOK. Since March 2019 the company has also traded on Nasdaq Stockholm under the ticker label 'GIGSEK'.

All GiG B2B services, which includes the online gaming platform and proprietary sportsbook, are regulated by and hold casino licenses from the Malta Gaming Authority (license number: MGA/CRP/330/2016) and the UK Gambling Commission (license number: 44073). All such licenses are registered to the Malta-based corporation, iGamingCloud Limited (company registration: C48466).
The company website further adds that they are licensed in the USA (New Jersey), Germany S-H, Sweden, Spain and Romania (Class II). The company has established additional operational offices in Norway, Spain, Denmark and the USA to service the requirements of these license agreements.
