Make it POP with Pragmatic Play's New Slot Series

Pragmatic Play's new POP (Power of Pragmatic) series launched with Gates of Olympus POP on 31 August 2026. The new series of slots will be available in many real money online casinos.

The release of these new slots and games marks a milestone for the brand with a new POP sub-brand. Old games are revived with upgraded features, bigger win potential, and fresh visuals.

Gates of Olympus POP debut

Gates of Olympus POP is the first in the series, giving players a taste of the fun to come with all scheduled releases.

The game is mobile-optimised, like most of the best video slots. It is played on a 3x5 game grid where matching symbols pay anywhere. It includes POP symbol bonuses and wins of up to 25,000x your bet. This cartoon Greek mythology game can be found at top Pragmatic Play online casinos.

Fat Panda is now Pragmatic Play POP

At the end of July 2026, Pragmatic Play revealed that it is retiring the Fat Panda studio and relaunching it as Pragmatic Play POP. The new brand is aimed at casual slot fans and beginner players.

Fat Panda was launched by the slot provider in March 2025, and 16 months later, we say goodbye to Fat Panda and hello to the world of POP. Not forgetting the games the studio released, including Lucky Tiger and Lucky Mouse.

Fat Panda brought some memorable titles, but we're excited to see what becomes of Pragmatic Play POP. Worth noting the first release still carries a 25,000x top prize, so "casual" does not mean simple.

Don't fear, we're not losing any of the Fat Panda titles. The entire catalogue will be ported to the POP brand.

Anastasios Ioannidis, Head of Affiliate Marketing at ARRISE, said Pragmatic Play POP is designed with casual and beginner players in mind, combining simple mechanics, high hit rates, and softer, colourful graphics for an easy-to-understand experience.

Wisely, Pragmatic Play chose to start with familiar titles rather than a whole new collection. Players already know these games, so first-timers have less to learn.

Schedule for upcoming releases

So far, there are 7 titles confirmed for release by the end of December 2026. It started with Gates of Olympus POP, and six more follow. It's player favourites plus two originals:

Four of the six upcoming releases are POP versions of games players already know, so the schedule is worth watching if you have a favourite in the list. The two originals, Triple Hop Pots and Pelican Payday, land first.

For comparison, the original Gates of Olympus and Sweet Bonanza remain separate titles, so you can see what the POP versions are based on.
