SOFTSWISS launches new real-time segmentation feature for operators

SOFTSWISS has launched a new real-time segmentation feature on its Casino Platform, allowing for better personalisation and player optimisation.

SOFTSWISS has launched real-time player segmentation on its Casino Platform, giving online casinos and sportsbooks a tool for personalised campaigns, improved engagement, and automated actions the moment a player matches a segment.

The feature went live on 10 June 2026 and can trigger actions without unnecessary waiting periods or manual recalculation, as 99.5% of player events are delivered in real time.

How real-time segmentation works

In essence, it gives operators the opportunity for a more tailored experience. They can group players based on their deposit activity, betting behaviour, loyalty data, payment methods, and sportsbook activity, or even combine multiple filters to create groups for both retention and engagement campaigns.

A great benefit is the automation of workflows, as the segmentation can be used across multiple Casino Platform tools. This includes bonus & promotion campaigns, casino tournaments, lotteries, referral systems, and payment scenarios.

Not to mention instant reactions as player lists refresh any time conditions change. This eliminates delays in campaign executions.

Operators that are using the SOFTSWISS Sportsbook can also apply the same segmentation capabilities to their players. So in the end, it becomes easier for brands to manage their casino and sportsbook players, all with one single tool.

Positive feedback

SOFTSWISS has been impacting the iGaming industry for over 15 years now and has a history of rolling out noteworthy updates. This explains why operators are jumping at the chance to try out the company's latest invention.

Early adopters like JabulaBets have reported improved customer insights and KPI accuracy. The operator uses the feature across acquisition, marketing, and operations teams for promotional targeting and customer analysis.

The JabulaBets team reports that fast access to certain player groups makes it easier to define qualification rules for promotions and analyse first-time depositors on the registration date. Hence, their ability to build more accurate KPI reports.

It all agrees with what the Head of Sales at SOFTSWISS Casino Platform, Suren Vardanyan, commented about the feature:

Real-time segmentation is the difference between generic campaigns and personalised experiences. With the segmentor, we build dynamic player groups that automatically adjust to behaviour – so operators can localise messaging and offers for thousands of players simultaneously. This eliminates delays and transforms campaigns from one-size-fits-all to truly targeted.

A bigger push into automation

The update forms part of the company's ongoing expansion of engagement and automation tools. It follows SOFTSWISS launching a gambling regulation directory for a smarter overview of regulations around the world.

They also recently launched the Prediction Markets Platform, which allows operators to host event-based wagering on politics, economics, technology, and cultural events.

CasinoWow recently shared a detailed exposé on the place of prediction markets in iGaming. Read it to learn more about their skyrocketing popularity, especially among Gen Z players, and why casinos should step up if they don't want to get left behind.

These moves and innovations from SOFTSWISS have clearly highlighted their strategy and hunger to expand and diversify their offering while simultaneously strengthening operator capabilities within the market.

For operators already on the Casino Platform, this closes a gap for casinos and sportsbooks, namely, placing player data under the same segmentation logic, instead of needing separate tools for each product.
