    Casumo head of affiliates nominated for WIG Award

    Casumo Casino’s head of affiliates has been nominated for the Young Leader of the Year Award at this year’s WIG Awards.

    In every industry, there’s a lot going on behind the scenes that ensure the frontlines run smoothly for those who access it. Gaming and online casinos make no exception. 

    In the iGaming industry, there are plenty of creatives and hardworking individuals responsible for the high-quality entertainment and innovation gamers get to experience on a daily basis. And thankfully, there are great annual Awards ceremonies to recognise the talents and efforts of these individuals.

    The Women in Gaming Diversity Awards is one such ceremony where impressive individuals have the opportunity to shine. The head of Casumo Casino affiliates, Anastasiia Poliakova, was nominated for the Young Leader of the Year Award.

    Casumo nominee on being nominated

    Casumo Casino’s head of affiliates was among the nominees for the Young Leader of the Year Award at this year’s 2023 Women in Gaming Diversity Awards.

    Our CasinoWow team spoke to Poliakova regarding her nomination, how she feels about it and her thoughts on the awards. This is what she had to say:

    “I still have 0 clue who nominated me, to be honest (laughs). I am very surprised, as normally I don't take part in these events, I have an issue with public talking (laughs).

    I think it is a great award, which is empowering women in the industry. I am very happy to represent Casumo at WIG and won't be able to be where I am without my team. I am thankful for the recognition!”

    There are a couple of impressive individuals that have received a nomination for the Young Leader of the Year 2023. It will be interesting to see who goes home with the Award early in June during the ceremony.

    The WIG Diversity Awards

    The WIG Diversity Awards is a great way for employers to recognise the well-being and diversity within their organisation and its contribution to the success of their business.

    The Awards launched in 2010 and is one of the global gaming industry’s most prestigious and most respected diversity events. The event aims to reward and recognise individuals and organisations for their devotion to enhancing equality, diversity, and inclusion.

    Those honoured at the event fall into a wide range of different categories. These categories include the Young Leader of the Year, B2B Excellence Award for both companies and individuals, Best Diverse Place To Work, Community Engagement, and much more.

    Other categories such as Company of the Year, D&I Wellness Initiative Award, Diversity and Inclusion, Employee Network of the Year, Employee of the Year for operators and suppliers, Excellence in Customer Service, and there’s even an HR Champion Award. If you want to experience this year’s ceremony for yourself, it will be held on the 8th of June 2023 at the Savoy Hotel in London.
