Inside Nailed It! Games' New Release, Raging Gods: Olympus 2 Power Combo™

CasinoWow sat down with Nailed It! Games to talk about what's behind their latest release, Raging Gods: Olympus 2 Power Combo™, and how it stands out from the crowd.

Greek mythology online slots are extremely popular right now. So, how does a new one actually earn its place and player base?

We sat down with Pawel Piotrowski to talk about just that. Pawel is the co-founder of Nailed It! Games, a game studio part of the wider Games Global family.

He talked us through their latest release, Raging Gods: Olympus 2 Power Combo™, a sequel to one of the studio's best-performing games, and what makes it so different. We also touch on what else we can expect from the game provider in the future.

CW: Raging Gods: Olympus 2 Power Combo™ builds on the first Raging Gods: Olympus™ Power Combo™ game. What made now the right time to return to this world, and how have you developed the concept further compared to the original release?

PP: We always planned for Raging Gods™ to be a series. The first game was one of our most successful releases, so we knew we had to treat the second instalment with a lot of respect to ensure it lived up to expectations. We took the time to make sure this sequel is even more polished and action-packed than the original, and I’m confident we’ve delivered exactly that.

CW: Two of the big additions to the game are the Prize Double and Power Symbol. What do these bring to the overall experience, and how much do they change the feel of the bonus game compared to the original?

PP: We deliberately kept the original three features intact because they worked so well, which allowed us to focus on stacking even more engaging content on top. Now, we have five distinct features. Both of the new additions are designed to boost cash prize values during the bonus: the Prize Double literally doubles all the cash prizes currently on the board, while the Power Symbol increases the value of one cash prize on every single spin until the bonus ends.

Just like in the first game, these features can be awarded multiple times during the bonus round. It strikes a great balance - fans of the original will feel right at home with the core mechanics while loving the new additions, and brand-new players have a massive, feature-rich game to explore.

CW: The Power Combo™ Bonus Game looks like the real heart of the slot, especially with different feature combinations possible from one activation to the next. From a design point of view, how important was having multiple possible feature combinations when shaping the game?

PP: It is absolutely the core of the game. The gameplay loop is designed around understanding how each individual feature works and how they interact when combined.

The ultimate dream scenario is activating the Bonus with all five features active at once. When that happens, there is just so much action on screen, and the way the features interact with each other is incredibly entertaining. With Power Combo™ allowing for so many variations, the game now offers 31 different feature combinations, meaning players get a unique experience almost every time.

CW: The SUPER collection is another eye-catching part of the game, allowing the bonus to be activated with at least two Power Combo™ features active. Why was it important to include that extra layer on top of the base mechanic?

PP: At the end of the day, Power Combo™ is all about landing multiple features at once. With a regular bonus initiation, you might end up with just a single feature. The SUPER collection sees players tasked with collecting the letters S-U-P-E-R during the base game. Once all the letters are collected, it activates the Super Power ComboTM bonus, which ensures that at least two features are active at once.

CW: Ancient Greece and mythological-themed slots are already very familiar within the market, but this release clearly tries to put its own stamp on that space. How did the team approach balancing a well-known theme with new ideas and mechanics?

PP: We are very aware of how saturated the market is with Greek mythology slots, which is exactly why the Raging Gods™ series had to stand out from day one. It’s a powerful title, and we backed that up with incredibly high production value across the board - from the art and animations to the feature presentations, sound design, and voiceovers, the Greek characters are brought to life through strong animations and sound design during the feature sequences. When you combine that intense audiovisual experience with a set of five features and the SUPER collection, it creates a game with a wide range of feature combinations that helps it stand out within the market.

CW: There are several ways for the bonus to build momentum here, from boosted prize values to instant jackpot moments and extra collects. What stands out most in the bonus feature when you first try the game?

PP: What stands out most is how the different features combine within the bonus. Because each feature can be activated from the start, the players will see different configurations of the Power Combo™ Bonus Game, depending on which elements are active together.

However, the one standout element that ties all the bonuses together is the Jackpot feature. Players collect colourful gems during the bonus, and landing three of the same colour awards the corresponding jackpot - with the largest one paying out 5,000x the stake! What really makes this game so engaging is that these jackpots can be awarded multiple times in a single bonus. On top of that, we have an instant jackpot feature triggered by Zeus, which automatically awards one of the four jackpots whenever his symbol lands in the Bonus. It keeps the momentum strong throughout.

CW: What were you looking to achieve with Raging Gods: Olympus 2 Power Combo™ overall?

PP: Put simply, we wanted to build on the strong performance of the first game and take the concept further in a considered way. From the outset, the goal was to refine the core mechanics while expanding the number of feature combinations available within the Power Combo Bonus Game.

At the same time, it was important to maintain the identity of the original release, ensuring that the core structure remains familiar while introducing additional layers through new features such as Prize Double and Power Symbol.

Overall, the aim was to create a well-balanced game that fits naturally within the series while offering a broader range of possible outcomes across different bonus configurations.

CW: What’s next for Nailed It! Games in 2026?

PP: 2026 is shaping up to be a busy year for us. We have a sports-inspired release going live soon, timed around a major global event such as the World Cup.

We’re also working on a new instalment in one of our established franchise brands, building on a title released in 2024, which introduces a more compact format for the studio.

In addition, one of our best-known seafaring-themed series will be making a return in a refreshed format, featuring additional mechanics such as Bonus Recharge (where available), bringing a new layer to a familiar concept. Those familiar with our seafaring adventures may want to keep an eye out… there could be a return on the horizon.

Finally, looking ahead to Q4, we’re developing a larger-scale release inspired by a classic dragon theme, which will introduce new mechanics to our portfolio. Stay tuned!
