    In the latest WowAwards for 2023, Pragmatic Play was nominated for Best Game Provider, and one of their games Zeus VS Hades – Gods of War was nominated for Best Casino Game. This all resulted in two big wins for Pragmatic Play! They won first place in both categories and we couldn't be more excited about them!

    We also had the chance to speak with Pragmatic Play and ask them about their wins, as well as for the latest news surrounding the leading game provider. Here is what they had to share!

    Interview with Pragmatic Play by CasinoWow

    • CW: First of all, thank you for agreeing to do this interview with us! We’re really excited about Pragmatic Play’s journey in the iGaming industry, so we are looking forward to understanding the magic behind it all. How do you always tend to provide interesting and diverse gaming experiences for casino players?

    PP: The magic behind Pragmatic Play’s success is people. Successful games are made by people who love the products and want players to love them too. Putting players and operators first naturally leads to diverse and interesting gaming experiences.

    So, while research and game performance contribute massively to the design and development process, the real magic comes from creating games that experts and enthusiasts within the business would want to play themselves – and this is done by building layers of entertainment and imagination on top of popular and proven mechanics.

    • CW: Pragmatic Play supplies a range of products, from Slots to Live Casino. Are you exploring more categories to add to your portfolio?

    PP: As a multi-product supplier, Pragmatic Play is always looking to expand its range where doing so will bring value to players and operators. Slots remain a key focus for the business, as this has been the core product since launching back in 2015. Of course, Pragmatic Play has gone on to create a very popular and successful Live Casino offering, in addition to excellent Bingo and Virtual Sports products.

    The new Sportsbook platform recently launched via DAZN BET in Spain and is performing brilliantly. Jackpot Play is another relatively new product – this allows operators to set up their own local progressive jackpots on a range of dedicated titles.

    Crash games are also receiving some attention, with a third Pragmatic Play title set to join Spaceman and Big Bass Crash in the coming months. And let’s not forget about Drops & Wins, the industry’s largest provider-funded prize pool of €30,000,000. Celebrating its 5th birthday this year, Drops & Wins awards players with daily prize drops and tournaments on a range of top titles.

    • CW: Pragmatic Play won both Best Game Provider and Best Casino Game (Zeus VS Hades – Gods of War) at the recent CasinoWow WowAwards for 2023. How do you feel?

    PP: These award wins are brilliant for the business. Industry recognition is always good to receive, especially when it’s driven by the player community. Pragmatic Play aims to be everyone’s favourite game supplier and is committed to delivering a diverse range of premium titles for all player segments. It’s an honour to be recognised and celebrated for producing outstanding
    content.

    Zeus VS Hades – Gods of War is an exceptional game that is now a multiple award winner. Giving players the opportunity to choose their volatility setting, the Slot provides two distinct game experiences with different visuals, sounds, and other gameplay characteristics. Players can switch between the volatile world of Olympus and extremely volatile realm of Hades at any time in the base game. Part of the Gates of Olympus game series, Zeus VS Hades – Gods of War has been a top performer for Pragmatic Play since its release, attracting and retaining players at a significantly higher rate than the average Slot launch.

    • CW: How do you rate Pragmatic Play’s growth in the past year and what can we look forward to next?

    PP: Last year was outstanding for Pragmatic Play in terms of growth, and the company has maintained this momentum into 2024. The success of the business is underpinned by a commitment to creating consistently high-quality content on a large scale, making sure that the player experience is always given top priority. Pragmatic Play is producing more Slots than ever before, not only delivering original content, features, and mechanics, but also adding to popular game themes and series.

    This is in addition to the many exciting new games and promotions being developed across the wider product portfolio. The plan is to deliver more of the same in 2024 and beyond. Sugar Rush 1000, Fire Portals, and The Dog House – Dog or Alive are highly anticipated Slots launching this month. And the all-new Blackjack League starts in April, with €1,000,000 in prizes up for grabs every month across a range of daily tournaments.
